Over the years we have witnessed the struggles of the woman in our society, striving to earn a living for themselves and to support their family due to the chronic widespread of poverty which prevents them from building themselves. Empowering the women and young generation of girls by equipping them with tools that will enable them to build their livelihood is very important & valuable for the development and advancement of the individual, their family, community as well as the nation.

Shalom aims to empower such women by conducting a one-year stitching program, where they learn the fundamentals of sewing & stitching garments which will help them to earn better and afford a higher standard of living.

When these women possess a higher sense of self-worth and the ability to generate income, they will be better able to control resources and exert influence in their communities. With this competence, these women will be able to step into an altogether new role in the society.
